1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Tsuyu ("the Service"), available at tsuyu.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tsuyu is a text-to-video creation platform that converts written content into short-form videos using AI-generated voiceovers, background footage, and auto-captions. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights
• Generate NSFW, hateful, or violent content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the platform
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Violate Reddit's terms of service when using Reddit content as a source

5. Content Ownership

Your content: You retain ownership of scripts, text, and creative choices you provide. Videos generated by the Service are yours to use for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

Third-party content: When using Reddit posts or other third-party content as source material, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content. Tsuyu does not claim ownership of third-party content.

AI-generated content: AI voices, scripts, and translations are generated using third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic). Output may not be copyrightable in all jurisdictions.

6. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your Settings page. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period. All sales are final — we do not offer refunds.

Free plan quotas reset monthly. Unused videos do not roll over.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Video generation depends on third-party APIs (OpenAI for TTS, Pexels for backgrounds) which may experience downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

Tsuyu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where the operator resides.
