Bold captions: large text with a heavy outline

Bold sets the text at 84 with a 5 outline, the largest of the five. The heavy outline separates the lettering from almost any background, so it holds up over moving or bright footage where thinner styles disappear. Fewer words fit on a line, which makes the video feel faster.

Tips

  • Write tighter lines: at this size roughly four words fill a line.
  • Use it for hooks and short clips; a long script in this size becomes a lot of caption changes.
