Minimal captions: smaller text and a thin outline

Minimal shrinks the text to 60 and thins the outline to 1, so the footage gets more of the frame. It still highlights the spoken word, just with less weight around it. It suits calm, thoughtful narration where large lettering would feel like shouting.

Tips

  • A thin outline needs contrast: choose footage that is not bright white behind the text.
  • Check a render on your phone before posting; the smaller size is the first thing to feel hard to read on a small screen.
  • Move up to Default if viewers mostly watch without sound.
